GRcade is well known for its uncanny ability to see the future, but it is time to put it to the test. In this thread I would like the forum to make some predictions and in just over 3 years time, I will resurrect the thread and we will see who is an idiot and who we need to burn as a witch.
The rules are simple, below are 10 categories, make a prediction on what you think will happen in each area. Most of them are vague and general to allow you to go wild (e.g. UK News can be anything from a prediction on Brexit fallout, to a massive storm, to rioting, to the X Factor winner), a couple are more specific just so we can weed out those that talk to the devil. The final category is a wildcard, make any prediction that you feel like whether it fits into the other categories or not.
Please only make one prediction for each category, making thousands of guesses on the next US President doesn't make you Nostradamus, it just makes you look silly when Bill Cosby takes over and you missed him off of your list.
Unless there is a year in the category, the prediction doesn't have to be for 2020 itself, but predicting something for 2017 might be seen as less impressive than predicting something amazing in 2019.
Obviously this is all dependent on the forum still existing in 3 years time, but I am an optimist.

Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris sweep the rug out from under Trump's feet in a wave of optimistic populism. Sanders is not expected to take a second term, so rumors swirl from the outset regarding whom Harris, the presumed 2024 nominee, will pick as her VP.
UK Prime Minister in 2020
Jeremy Corbyn, but his term is plagued by intra-party internecine fights.

Still Elizabeth II, much to Charles' annoyance.

Brexit not looking like such a great idea after a series of big trade deals falls through, thanks in large part to massive Tory incompetence, the new Labour-Lib Dem coalition government uses secret back channels to reluctantly petition the EU to please be let back in to the EEC. The breaking news of this will dominate the next general election.
World News
Beijing finally severs ties with North Korea, having finally had enough of Kim Jong-un threatening to bring nuclear war to their doorstep. Plans to partition NK, dividing it between Russia, China and South Korea, with a big new DMZ, are leaked, prompting a new wave of nuclear testing from the bellicose DPRK regime. Russia becomes NK's primary benefactor for the time being.

"Taking a knee" spreads to British and mainland European sports. At least one Italian player is knee-capped by Camorra mafia crime syndicate for doing so.
