To be honest playing classical music instead of the normal shite shops normally have on sounds great to me!

Yeah I was about to say sounds amazing. Might have to get over to Co-op asap!
I somehow find myself watching ITV, where Philip Schofield (isn’t it always) narrates the work Prince Philip apparently did for some Vanuatu island tribe. They see him as “the son of a mountain God”. Apparently. Prince Philip that is, not Philip Schofield.
I think it’s truly ridiculous how BBC1, 2 and News are simulcasting the exact same thing.
I always get a really odd feeling whenever those special report things come on TV. I got the same feeling when a TV channel would have technical difficulties and the continuity announcer came on to introduce some music. I always used to catastrophize that someone had bombed Television Centre or something
I periodically check the headlines on the BBC website to see what's going on. Fast getting into "new pope" mode where I don't bother as I know it's going to be half a page about the same thing.
It's completely over the top. At least before the Internet, TV and 24 hour news you could kind of get away from it.

It was fine for an hour, but six hours into your shift it starts to get a bit annoying. Could be worse I guess, could be at B&Q.
