The Link's Awakening guide arrived today!

It's a cute little guide, feels nice and glossy and decent quality. The margins could maybe be a little wider, it's all readable but the text does get close to the binding in the middle. There are loads of screenshots throughout which is great, especially when they are annotated to show the order for pushing blocks and the like. I like the boxes for tracking heart pieces and seashells - I'd never tick it off myself but I do find the "collected" checkboxes fun, they make it feel like a proper game guide! Same for the maps at the back showing all the heart and seashell locations. The dungeons could have done with dungeon maps, if I were to say anything was missing. I'm glad you included the secrets and easter eggs chapter, with the optional Marin scenes and even the photos from DX. Otherwise I spotted a couple of minor spelling/grammar mistakes, but I appreciate those can easily slip through. Thanks for the speedy postage! It joins my Link's Awakening collection :)

Appreciate the honest (and fair) feedback on the guide. :D

Fair point on the maps for the dungeons, definitely something I'd now do for other Zelda guides, the margins were close, but have been increased for every guide after (live and learn moment as it was my first print book).

Spelling wise, it's inevitable some slip through (even after multiple proofreads), hopefully they're not too distracting.

As long as it's helpful and at least feels professional (certainly more professional than the other unofficial alternatives), then I'm content with it being my first print guide. Thanks again for buying it and giving me your feedback, means a lot.

I've only one piece of feedback that you may wish to consider.

Looking at the images on page 1 I can't help but notice the plain, white backgrounds. I was bought Prima's DK64 guide back in the day and that used images filling the page as background, usually dark or dimmed to effectively offset the bright text. I've sourced a copy online which you can download to see what I mean. Personally, I think that approach makes it feel more of a premium, high quality product.
