The collection as a whole is just really pleasing to have since it's brought so many fantastic memories and connected me with a lot of very good people.
If I had to pick one, it would be this Charizard - I discovered it in my parent's attic a few years ago, more or less totally unprotected, because when I got it as a kid I didn't really know how significant it was or anything. Basically in 2002 they reprinted the original set of cards and introduced these reverse holofoils for the first time ever, so this is like... one of the rarest and most desirable Charizard cards that exists. Last time I checked this condition on eBay it had sold for £350 but if it was marginally better (there are some scratches and light marks to it, a consequence of me being a young kid when I first owned it) you could multiply that by 10 easily.
I just found all my cards and looked on ebay to see that I had a few rare ones. Togetic and Misty's Gyarados for example. They are going on ebay soon!
You have to be quite specific about printings and conditions but if they're in decent nick now is an excellent time to sell! the market has exploded in the last 9 months or so, a lot of big rollers are moving into the hobby and demand has shot through the roof
I've got every card from the original set in mint condition. Tell me how close I am to being a millionaire, Sarah.
My 64-DD and a few particular games are damn treasured. They're great games ( Japanese versions of Link's Awakening and Sweet Home CIB) but are especially valuable because of the memories attached to getting them. My original N64 too.
For all the crazy mad gooseberry fool that I've bought - the books signed by Terry Pratchett are mine. Phenomenal mind and man that was sadly taken far too soon. Met him twice for the signings. He was a tireless attendee of stuff for his fans.

I've got a set of 15 shinys up just now sitting at £51.
A Misty's Gyarados and a Erika's Venusaur both sitting at £30 each
Yeah basically anything WOTC is bank! It’s a relatively achievable era to collect (5ish years, only a few thousand cards, dem nostalgia feels) so there’s always buyers and the prices are always going up.

Probably about 300 to 500 GBP, assuming they’re the much more widely available 3rd or 4th print runs, but if they’re shadowless (effectively the beta print) or first edition (Second print) then you’re talking major dollars
