That's where I ordered.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Since I'll be buying this for the first time in about 8 years, whats the craic with the licenses? I remember back in the day having memory cards that changed everything to the correct team names etc, do X1, PS4 have a similar 'cheat'?

Every year, about a week after launch, PES Universe release a downloadable option file which already has the edit mode stuff done for you.

Once you install it on your console you will have all the correct team names, kits, sponsors, player names and league logos.

The reviews are arriving and they're generally very positive. It's probably fair to say that the latest edition is an evolution rather than a revolution, with the core gameplay style in line with the games of the past year or two albeit a tad more patient and structured. I like the sound of this as, for me, the feel and playability has been great in recent years.

I'm ready to return to Online Divisions :toot: .

Played the Fifa 18 demo to decide which one I wanted and I feel PES 2018 is a little bit better and more realistic. The only things I am not happy about are the licenses, which cannot be avoided and the graphics sometimes look a bit last gen - the grass needs to be improved a bit. The lighting and animations have improved and it looks good in 4K.

Don't think it's available on Xbox unfortunately :(

Yeah, oddly enough I don't think the XBO version caters for this. I'm surprised that the PS4 version does! I have used the kit updates in previous years but I didn't bother last time around.

I really don't understand why MS won't allow it either. So stupid.

Ah well, It has Liverpool so I can handle Man Red etc.

I presume its to do with 360 and Xbox One having cloud saves across both devices.

Just got this for £35 from SimplyGames. Seems a decent price to me. Should be arriving tomorrow. (My mate ordered it on Monday and it arrived yesterday  )

Quite tempted by that price, but I think I'm going to try and hold off for a bit. Pro Evo is a game I play fairly regularly throughout the year so it's quite nice having a copy on the hard drive, so I might wait until there's a digital sale. I think the last two editions went on sale digitally after a month or two.

In the meantime Destiny 2 will probably be taking up most of my time!

Good to see the GRcade PES 2017 veterans returning for the new season :datass: . I plumped for the download version and it's already on my hard drive waiting to unlock... all good, except I may not be able to play until Friday.

Oh - and because GRcade members DEMANDED it - I shall, as with last season, be spamming this thread continuously with kick-by-kick accounts of nearly every match I play  :toot: .

I've switched from Fifa to this. First Pro Evo I've bought since PES 2008.
Got my copy yesterday and it plays a lovely game of footie.
Bit gutted though; I've had an Ultimate Team co-op night most Thursdays with my best mate for the last few years, but we had to switch to tonight as I'm working tomorrow. Of course, the servers aren't up yet for this.
Looks like we'll be going for a Champion's League run later instead of heading online.

I'm pleased to hear you're bowing to public pressure, jawa

My copy should be here today, not sure how I'm going to squeeze this in around Destiny, but I'll sure as hell try :D

Any word on option files yet?

You could pre-order them from that PES universe site, PS4 only mind.

Talked my mate into buying a copy. :datass:

I was hoping not to pay for one :slol: I guess it's worth it for a fiver, as I got the game for £35.

Glad to hear you're playing this year and spreading the good word. Shame it's on the 'wrong' console ( ;) ), but the more Pro Evo sales the better, IMO.

This has the online random team option right?

Got pretty boring in FIFA facing Real/Barca/PSG over and over again.
