Short of shooting for the extra-secret final boss, you're currently at the worst part for grinding. What I did was hunt down all the optional caves and such at levels 15 or below, at the same time as making tracks towards any cities that don't require venturing into level 20 areas. It was still irritating, but I got there eventually.

How do you finish everyone's Chapter 1 and only have everyone around Level 10?
I've just done the last Chapter 1 and my characters range from Level 10-20. It's god awful that characters not in the active party don't gain Experience or Job Points though :fp:

I started with Ophilia and went clockwise picking everyone up. Quickly settled into a main group of Ophilia, Cyrus, Tressa and Therion and swap out Tressa for further chapters or Y skills.

Primrose was neglected so doing her chapter 2 at level 15 while the rest of the party are 40+ but I always grind levels in this type of game so aim to have her, H'aanit and Alfyn to a respectable level soon.

I started with Primrose, with my main party being Primrose, Cyrus and Ophilia, with the third slot rotated around for whoever's chapter I'm doing.

I did full rotations apart from Therion. I did miss Cyrus when he was swapped out though, his battle cries as much as anything else.

Which ones in particular? They’re always harder at the start of the Chapter-playthrough, I find.

I've nearly finished the various chapter 3s, but am doing the 4 secret job bosses. Beat the Sorceror one first, then went on to the Runelord one which was beating me severely several times.

Finally beat it this morning in an amazing stroke of good luck though. Normally I get to the stage where he starts attacking the entire party at once and inflicting sleep/unconscious on the entire party before he wipes me, but this morning I was managing to keep a Leghold trap on him to delay his turns and in a good state of break, but it got to the point where he'd inflicted 4 turn sleep on everyone and was going into 4 consecutive turns. I was really annoyed because his name had gone red too.
On his first turn he cast his spell that casts every element on a single target and he hit Primrose multiple times which killed her. She had an auto revive so came back, plus counter attack. So she countered with a dagger twice for 2 damage each.

And strawberry floating killed him with it!!
After everything he was down to 4 strawberry floating HP and almost wiped me!

Got back to this after finishing with Fire Emblem.

I'd just gotten the 4 secret jobs during the Chapter threes which has resulted in three of my characters (Primrose, Ophilia and Cyrus) being way overpowered. Chapter 4 recommends Level 45 and those three are all Level 60.

At least it'll be an easy trek through Chapter 4 I guess :slol:

H'aanit

I just started this yesterday and also picked H'aanit as my starting character.

Liking it so far although the constant thees and thous in the speech are already wearing a little thin.
