Is Don't Starve on the Vita supposed to be cross buy? Its showing as free on the store for me at the moment but not sure whether its a glitch.

It's not cross buy unfortunately.
A shame, as I would like to actually play it. I don't think it'll suit to a home console, actually.

The one thing I would say is the menus in it have a bewildering number of options, and having it on a big screen helped. But yeah, it does feel very much like a Vita game IMO.

It's definitely free (the Giant edition) so I assume its because I 'purchased' the PS4 version (ahead of actually buying one).

I've played 999 and completed it once. Do I need to get all the endings before playing Virtue?

Yeah, VLR spoils the true ending of 999. Plus the true ending of 999 is a hell of a ride.
In other news, I'm downloading five PS+ Vita games. Not bad for £40/year, methinks.

While I love both VLR and Danganoronpa, I'd recommend VLR over Danganronpa easily. Do get both, but if you can only afford one of them get VLR.

Just downloading VLR, along with today's PS+ stuff.
Need to finish Walking Dead first, but will move on to VLR after that.

It's the PS4 version up for PS Plus, but due to it being cross buy you get the Vita version on top as well. Just "buy" the PS4 version.
