Velocity X2 is very good. Enjoying it. The rest of this month's Vita PS+ lineup is crap though. Played 5 mins of each and uninstalled them all.

If you enjoyed Velocity 2X, I would encourage you to try out the first one.

The premise is basically the same, but no on foot sections.

I am struggling trying not to blink when turbo blasting through the levels.

Yeah TxK is quality. Tough and takes practice, but a great little game for a handheld.

Joe Danger crap? WTFMON...

Thanks for the news that Velocity 2X is free on Vita though! I went through the store on my PS3 earlier, so I missed adding that one to my list. Found it though the Vita store and downloading now.

TxK seems to be a marmite title.

I have Joe Danger 1 on PS3 and 2 on PC, but have never really liked any of them. I find the Trials games much better.

Need to finish Walking Dead first, but will move on to VLR after that.

I didn't even know it existed until after I bought VLR  Didn't bother me much when I found out as I don't own a 3DS.

This isn't the first time it's been on sale, Pedz. So if you do pass up on I'm sure it'll be up again soon-ish.

Yeah, I'm thinking my of leaving it and playing 999. Seems fairly cheap.

Velocity 2X is great. It's basically Ultra but with awesome on foot sections and better visuals. It makes for a perfect Vita game as the levels are only a few mins long. It does have cross save too. It's instantly become one of my fave games on Vita, the controls are just perfect and it looks amazing.

Joe Danger is pretty good, seems a good port and has a lot of tracks it seems. I personally hated TxK, definitely not for everyone. Yet to try Playststion Allstars, but looks fun.

Amazing day for Vita.

I didn't really 'get' VLR at all. Having alternate endings or whatever is cool, I guess. The whole thing was very confusing.

Didn't the whole wtf is going on?! / betrayal / whodunnit? aspect of it grab you? I was in a total state of grippedness the whole way through.

For me the best thing about the timelines wasn't the alternative versions but the ease at which you could jump into them, that and the fact the game didn't artificially extend itself by making you start at the very beginning each time.

The revival of this thread, along with some of the new PS+ stuff, has caused me to recharge my Vita. It had lain silent for a month or so, possibly because I've been pretty stressed and therefore enjoying games less. Also, it's been summer, and I always game less.

I had a reshuffle of my (16gb  ) card last night and it's now very finely focused on my target games to play/complete next. The craziest part is, there are still some massive titles I have yet to play, which aren't even on the card. Gravity Rush and Uncharted, to name just two.

The Vita is an amazing machine. So many games for so little money. I almost feel bad that Destiny is coming out next week.

Well I quite like Playstation All Stars even though it does seem beyond basic as a fighter. Played through the arcade as Drake on my lunch break and definitely looking forward to trying some more characters. Don't think it'll have much replayability though after I've played as all the characters I'm interested in. Might download it on the PS3 and see what it's like playing local multiplayer.

Disgaea 4 is going to end up giving me a bad case of the Emma Freuds if I keep playing it on the khazi.

Anyone tried Don't Starve Giant Edition yet? I downloaded it for free today, but yet to get round to it. Never bothered trying it on PS4, but looks like it might be a good dip in and out kind of game.

That being said, I might as well just have Velocity 2X on my Vita, it's so addictive.
