I think I'm too old for this game. I don't think I have the motor skills anymore to coordinate 3 different timed button presses. Some of the platforming in this is damn tricky.

I was thinking the same. I am completely stuck on a platforming section at the moment. I know what to do, but I can't get the timing right when switching between worlds. I might try it on PS3 and see if that helps.

Ridiculously difficult, eh? Think I might have to get this.

How big is the download?

Vita is around 330mb.

Edit, and I wouldn't say ridiculously difficult. I'm just gooseberry fool at platforming games.

Been playing this all day. Absolutely loving it.

All the meme references

And the Zelda one

56% done according to the stat. Passed the Tule Tree earlier. It wasn't THAT difficult. It was very tricky but doable. It helps that you can't die from falls and any true death from spikes or whatever send you back only 10 seconds at the most. Certainly should be no trouble for a Megaman veteran such as Suzz.

I think if I carry on playing this then I'll need a new vita. Javier Jaguar is the cheapest strawberry floater in gaming and if I don't beat him soon then I'll leave this game and never come back.

He was a banana split alright. Especially when he did that fire thing. Took me 6 or 7 tries to beat.

The good thing about this game is that although it can be cheap as strawberry float at times, it never puts you back far enough to get too frustrated. It's no Ninja Gaiden that's for sure. :dread:

I think I'm coming to the end, now. Making my way up to what I presume will be the final boss.

I wandered off to collect a few of the missed chests before heading to the final boss (supposedly you can't then go back and collect stuff after you beat him). Collecting some of the orbs puts the Jaguar fight to shame, they are incredibly hard. Anyone who hasn't bought this should jump in, its absolutely fantastic. The right level of challenge but with death not being too punishing (i.e. it doesn't throw you too far back). And so many gaming references hidden.

ive played maybe about an hour so far, been a bit busy with other things but it is a brilliant game and is a great metroid(snes, nes) type of game also the writing is very witty and interesting especially the goat man who wants to get with your mum

I finished off the Tule tree last night. Some very tricky bits but you were never thrown back that far when you strawberry floated up which was very nice indeed.

The third stage of the Caverna del pollo :dread: The dragons that spit red gooseberry fool at you are so strawberry floating cheap. Absolutely infuriating. But I did it in the end, even after a glitch that locked me into the third room after everyone was dead :fp:

Managed to 100% the game tonight 8-) The last boss wasn't too difficult. His first form was piss easy. Didn't even take any damage. Second form was a bit tougher but only took 3 or 4 attempts. Some well timed dodging of his flame attack and the rest is relatively easy.

8 hours 34 minutes to complete it 100% on normal. An excellent game all round.

Are you talking about Tule tree or the tree tops?

The tree tops are a different matter altogether but still not too frustrating. You just need to be good with the world switching.

The Tule Tree. My biggest issue was that I have been playing the game on the stick and not the d-pad on Vita and was missing moves because of that. I'm on the dpad now though.

What do the orbs get you?

This is well good. There should be more metroid clones. That one on the Xbox with the unreal engine I can't remember the name of was pretty boss too.
