Lets name all games after food from the country they are set in with terrible puns based on the style of game inserted in to them...oh wait no, that's a really bad idea.

I never professed to be an advertising genius, I just know that Guacamelee is a terrible name.

Me , no never

anyway i like the art style of the game and Mutant Blobs Attack has been one of my favourite games for the Vita so far at least for downloadable titles. I think it was mainly based around there being some good solid platforming puzzle action but the art and music was a little different to what you normally get and reminded me of the Jonny Bravo, Dexters Laboratory animation that i enjoyed in the 90's.

Also day one purchase

It'll probably end up as a PS Plus content.

A few games I thought would never appear on PS Plus, did appear as PS Plus content. :fp:

maybe but i am going to buy it and give them my money, i like to support the indie guys from the start otherwise they might not make many more games.

Just read the review and it sounds very interesting, i have never played a proper metroidvania style game other than metroid back on the SNES.

I'm definitely in (though I'd imagine it'll get delayed for SCEE). Mutant Blobs bought me a lot of goodwill for Drinkbox, they can have a few quid of my money.

The summary on the Sixth Axis review makes it sounds tremendous.

Guacamelee! is not entering a particularly overcrowded pool of similar games on the PSN but lack of competition hasn’t stifled creativity. It’s Drinkbox’s best game so far (and I was a big fan of Mutant Blobs Attack on Vita) and it’s the best combo-brawler on PSN. It’s also one of the best platform puzzlers and one of the best Metroid-vania style games. Not content with that list of “bests”, Guacamelee! is also one of the best games for your Vita.

It’s cheap, mechanically smart, designed with aplomb and packed full of charm and character that will appeal directly to the videogame geek in all of us. So, it’s pretty much essential.
