I'm trying to use the headset that came included with my PS4 but I can't get it to work. In the test screen in the menu it works fine but as soon as I'm in a game it stops working. Does anybody have any ideas how to fix this?

Are you trying to use it with destiny? I found chat hit or miss with that.

I've tried it several times in Destiny with no luck and last night I was trying voice commands in Tomb Raider.

I'm not sure, though there is a small switch on the side which may (or may not) make a difference. I use the supplied headset with no bother, but, as AD says, Destiny has been hit and miss.

Your best bet is to find a patient person on your friends list and experiment with the switch settings. Do it whilst in a chat party because the chat is more reliable than just relying on the fireteam link in-game on Destiny, for example.

I'm gonna trade my 360 in and get a proper headset this weekend. Hopefully I'll get more joy from that.
