You could say that about any sports game, really.

Not really. Playing darts or pool on a proper board or table is incredibly accessible for most people.

You can't say the same about playing an 11 vs 11 game of football on a regulation size pitch
Or racing round Silverstone
etc etc

No, but it's very easy to go outside and kick around a football or throw a few hoops. You sound like my mother 15 years ago.

Yeah but that's not the same :x

Ryall did you get an email today from Sony about free gooseberry fool for New n Tasty? Apparently there's some add-on story DLC we're getting free.

Nah. How would that even work I wonder? The start of Exoddus or an all new thing? I'm interested.

Football in the pub might get messy.

Might make it actually watchable though.

Had the PS4 for a few days now:

- Moving around the UI and switching apps is really quick compared to other consoles.
- The UI really needs the ability to sort titles or at least put everything into folders.
- The machine seems to run very quietly indeed.
- Resogun is ace. After a few goes on normal, I've upped it to Veteran and it's even better. I'll definitely be picking up Heroes, unsure as to whether I should just separately or through the season pass.
- Don't Starve drew me in more than I was initially expecting, but I don't really know what's going on and it can feel like a bit of a slog. Does the chap not need to sleep?
- Pixeljunk Shooter seems very pedestrian after Resogun, but admittedly that was only based on the opening five minutes or so.
- I'm annoyed that the Sony games I've got so far (The Last of Us and Infamous SS) don't have EFIGS language options, whereas the third party titles (Watch Dogs and Murdered: SS) do.

Resogun: SP seemed like great value when it first went up and I don't usually go in for 'em. (€5 for one expansion versus €8 for the SP which gets you Heroes and future expansions)

Don't Starve:  Yes you most definitely need to sleep. Look up YouTube for beginner guides.

That could be where I'm going wrong then.

On my first go, I attacked a bee hive on day three, killed the bees and dropped dead about half a minute later. I assume the two were related.

On my second, I found some pig shrine, then went through a worm hole, started to hallucinate a lot (I blamed the cooked spider meat) and got killed my a massive swarm of bees, before being resurrected at the shrine. I left it there though, but I doubt he'll live much longer this time around.

Resogun's season pass was my first season pass.

Everyone buy Pure Pool. Jiggles and I just had an epic back-and-forth game.

Early GOTY contender for me.

Is there an option to have numbers on the balls in Pure pool. I saw no option and with being colour blind it's somewhat of a pain in the arse, as I was hitting the wrong balls in the game I played.

It's certainly amazing to see a game so utterly broken that even the simple act of displaying a friend's list sends the game bonkers.
Did they honestly do any play testing at all as if they did the testers need to be fired.

I doubt it as the game is a strawberry floating omnishambles of epic proportions.
It's got be an early contender for worst game of the generation.
