I love the way we're all ready to get behind Sony this time. The best thing they could do right now is to admit that they know PS3 was crap for a lot of things and directly address those faults.

Sorry that took so long. My server time is a little off, and in a really weird timezone.

For future use in other threads, change these to the UK time:

We're ready largely because Sony have learnt from their mistakes and have come back very strongly - so much so that they are the leader now!

On top of that both Nintendo and MS have messed up big time.

Lastly, no one does hype like Sony, we all want them to get back to the PlayStation/ PS2 days of glory!

With Sony comes excitement and this industry badly needs it now - I hope they deliver, for the industry's sake if not for anything else.

I can't wait to see how Sony strawberry float this up tonight. The hype is strawberry floating insane that something major has to bring it all down right?

I know, I can see the Eyetoy/Kinect device going down like a lead balloon. Charging for online is another hunch.

They'll blatantly charge for online, and there'll be some other fuck-ups as well. More entertaining will be the blindly loyal Sony fans trying to defend them.

I don't know if any of you saw the Kim Dot Com launch of the Mega cloud service? It had a load of dancing women in uniform. It would be so great if the conference got a bit self-referential and tonight an army of women come marching out all wearing a Kaz face mask and at the end of their routine they lift up the real Kaz!
