The stories in those games make no sense but they always get the gameplay right.

Really? I feel just as bad with Crysis 2 and Crysis 3. I started the original Crysis but couldn't be bothered with that either.

I'd prefer a remake of the original Killzone and a remaster of Killzone 2.

Why u like bad games?

Crysis is amazing. So many ways to express yourself with the combat. They're so fun.
Also, I've just be reminded that I have Crysis 3 on plus. Downloading that tonight

The first half of Crysis was amazing; the second half was a slog. I tried to play the sequel but I gave up after the first five minutes reminded me of a contemporary Call of Duty campaign and I was too bored to continue.

Crysis 2 isn't much like Call of Duty at all. Not as vast as the sandbox-esque stylings of the 1st game though.

I very much enjoyed Crysis 2, and I'm not a massive fps fan. I'm going to play through 3 soon, I think.

Picked up a new PS4 from Game today, unfortunately replacing is not as simple or easy as it should be. First I had to phone their support number to get a reference number. They told me that I should record the problem on a mobile as it was intermittent and I said its not my problem, there is clearly an issue with the PS4 as otherwise I wouldn't be returning it. I was then told that they'd need to see the problem in the shop. Again I said it was intermittent and that unless someone was going to sit down and play it for 2 days straight, the problem may not occur. So I got the number and told the support line that if the store refuse to replace it, it will become a legal matter.

In the store they set it up, left it running for about 20 minutes but the problem didn't occur, but they gave me a new one anyway. Based on going through hoops though, I wouldn't recommend other people buy hardware from Game, particularly as things like the PS4 and XBO are more likely to have intermittent problems rather than simple "works" or "doesn't work" issues.

Yes?

I felt exactly the same about the first crysis. Once the aliens arrived the combat just went to gooseberry fool. Turned from tactical sneaking around into sprinting around try to shoot enemies out of the sky who's fire you couldn't dodge.

Second one is nothing like COD. It's amazing. Every level is like a bit of open terrain that you can tackle however you like.
Then you unlock weapon mods and suit enhancements that you can change on the fly. It's one of my favourite shooters of last gen, and it plays well throughout, unlike the first game.

haven't played the third yet but I really should do since it's free on Plus and I loved the second. I hope they bring out the trilogy on current consoles. I don't see why they wouldn't, especially with their current finances. Surely it wouldn't be too hard?

Crysis 2 bored the pants off me. I could be just not in the mood for that kind of the game though.

Have any of you played the third game on ps3? I played the PS+ version and the framerate was a joke. Like a 20FPS joke.

I haven't yet, it's on my list. But yeah, if it's poor, I'll give it a miss. I really did enjoy 2 though.

My brother essentially switched from the PS3 to the 360 half way through the last gen (though kept both).

He's just bought a PS4. :datass: Possibly just to shut me up... :shifty:

Question:

Can I put my profile on his machine to get him some of my digital games, as I did with the PS3? I want to do it: equally, don't want to end up up gooseberry fool creek if my console ever breaks. If there is a limit, does it just apply to concurrent consoles in use?

I've bought a PS4 from Shopto! :D
Quick advice needed: I'm on wifi in a Canadian mall right now; I'm going to get another pad deffo, but the wireless headphones are $99 - about £55. Are they worth a purchase too? I'm in the mall for another couple of hours, so any advice in the meantime would be appreciated. Cheers guys.

These ones? If so, yes. I use them when playing games on my PC from my comfy couch™ brilliant bed™ and they're great.
