All they have went into detail on so far is the hardware. Cerny was specifically talking about how aspects of the architecture are very similar to PS4 so it can run the vast majority of PS4 games through hardware.

They've not made any mention of PS1/2/3 software emulation yet so it's not ruled out yet.
