Pumpkins, and the carving thereof

Good evening.

We have once again reached that time of year. The season in which people the world over enjoy mutilating gourds for reasons I don't care to research.

I have mutilated one such gourd, as has my partner. Here is a picture of the deceased fruits.

Now is the part where you share your efforts, please and thank you.

Grown our own pumpkins this year. Will carve them later with our niece and nephew.

Made these last night:

Quite happy with the outcome.

Struggled to get a pumpkin round or way this year, might have one last look in the shop today but I'm not holding out hope!

It's just a regular cat. Mrs Choc prefers a more traditional approach to pumpkin carving! :lol:

Couldn't get hold of any pumpkins this year and the ones we grew are too small. But as its on theme, see the one I did a couple of years back.

Managed to get hold of a few gourds in the end. Kids wanted a cat face so that's what they got!
