"E3"/Summer Game Fest thread 2023 - Over for another year :(

Geoff’s shows always feel like a thing for him to make money more than anything else.

Not really sure there’s too much I’m hoping for out of this non-E3 period. Splinter Cell remake is too far off. We’re not likely to see anything of the Japan based Assassins Creed while they’re in the hype cycle for Mirage. I feel like every studio I care about is already working on an announced game, or it’s too early for the next one to be revealed.

All I want is for the games at the show to be actually on sale in the next 12 months.

I'm fed-up with them announcing a game only to say it's super early in development and won't be out for the next 5 years.

Takes a sharp turn into comedy physics sandboxes at the end there

Thought it was great having a live audience, along with Nic Cage appearing on stage it felt like a proper E3 show!

Devolver continues its run of insane conferences and I for one couldn't be happier.

EDIT: No Nina Struthers though which is disappointing. She's always a highlight.
