Can we remove the swear filter that changes Era to Gamefaqs Message Board? It screws up the URLs as well, even in the URL tags.

The word filter is designed to discourage people from talking about Era, so it's actually working as intended

It's probably to stop people back searching us right? if you're not logged in the filter is applied.

I mean I obviously agree the ban is a bit much based on what was said, but you're being a bit misleading there, right? "Emulation" isn't the same as "piracy", and going into a thread about emulation and trying to start a big argument about piracy is off-topic and arguably trolling.

I'm not saying I would ban for it, it's definitely very harsh, but I don't think you've been entirely fair there.

Regardless of him making the mostly valid point that emulating this game must be piracy because it's not out yet (There are copies out there though so there is always the slim possibility that the person emulating it did have a legitimate dumped copy... ), his previous line is flat out saying Yuzu is Piracy. Which it's not. And the emulation threads over there rarely manage a page without someone coming in and going "but it's piracy". So yeah strawberry float him and his high-horse, especially as it's only a three day ban.

Reading further it appears he also has form for derailing emulation threads.

I got permanently banned from Era for saying 'dirty fries' isn't a racist term but actual food over here

The two things that ran through my mind when I wrote that:

1. Cal – but that was a long, drawn-out case that extended beyond a simple difference of opinion

2. Hexx – he does get unreasonably angry and abusive at the first hint of disagreement and I often find myself rooting for the other person even though I disagree with what they're saying

Seems a bit of a stretch to me. I've always thought of 'dirty' food being what I think that chef is describing in her response, like when something is loaded up with a chili/cheese-type topping. Then again, surely that's not all she cooks .
