I actually posted something similar after BotW came out.

I don't actually think it's that crazy a statement, once you get your head round how absurd it initially sounds.

It's quite an interesting thing to ponder as you have to consider what would qualify, feats of engineering, scientific discovery, artistic projects, medical advances. There's no reason a truly ground breaking piece of entertainment wouldn't qualify, the problem is art and entertainment is so subjective you naturally get a lot of hur-hurring whenever somebody might put something forward. I wouldn't for a second think RDR2 would be worthy but many would laugh at me suggesting BotW is.

On the one hand, eradicating smallpox, declaration of human rights, emancipation of slaves, defeating Hitler, the internet.

But on the other hand, horse testicles that contract in the cold/see that mountain you can climb it.
