It’s a shame because it can be a good hub for niche community threads but strawberry float me the bootlickers are gross.
If Future bought this place and folded it back into gamesradar I’d be off.

My only insight into the place is the occasional stuff posted in here and a few times I've clicked through and read a page or so of a thread.
I literally have no idea how it can be so popular when it seems such a ridiculous community to be a part of

The mods are being such utter knobs
Y'all.
People have moved on.
As someone who has been a part of multiple site migrations/abandonments, when it's happening you know it. It's a crescendo, a tidal wave.
It's not someone poking in every few hours when the thread has devolved into jokes about post signatures and member numbers with a desperate plea to "stay focused guys!"
If you have concerns and questions, we want to know [but not really because we're constantly whining about it]. We'll continue to do our best to respond [but not listen] especially if you possess the talent to raise those concerns without insulting us.
But...can the thread just be about that? And not attempts to stoke a panic that just isn't getting stoked? Not after a solid week, and nearly 150 pages. [That clearly means this isn't a real problem then... The thread has only doubled in a few days].
It's just not fetch. [Erm what?]
I've boldened all the pretentious, passive aggressive, condescending and thread-whining bits. This is constant for days. I suppose this is how you attempt to get people to shut up and just end up making the problem worse by
not strawberry floating listening.

Some of them need chucked from the staff for sure, they're really not suited to it - just constantly behaving like arses to everyone while whining about people not respecting them

Did that post really open with "Y'all" or did you add it in?

Wow, I assumed that was a sarcastic message from a member not a mod!

Bunch of sexless weirdos with sticks up their arses can't stand it when people acknowledge that some people might like sex.

The "lazy dev" rhetoric is inaccurate, in most instances it isn't going to be the fault of lazy developers but cheap publishers not giving them enough time and resource.
They do seem really hung up on the use of it though

I think their argument is that the rhetoric leads to harasssment of developers and tbh, most "gamers" are privileged little bitches.
Ports are highly profitable, relatively low overhead/cost projects though. Perhaps they should put it in ones and zeros instead?
Also, completely forgot about this, might be some new drama to read up on.
