I used to browse GAF, albeit never often, mostly when big releases came out, never signed up for an account as it looked quite a poisonous environment.

Not really surprised Microsoft would want it dead. It's been ultra negative against them for a while now. I know MS haven't helped themselves at times, but some of the criticism was over the top. Whilst the forum was clearly biased in favour of Sony especially as one of the admins used to work for Adam Boyes.

Hope NeoGaf comes out of this intact, it's my primary source for gaming news these days.

The alternative seems to be the Express and Daily Star's "GAMES SHOCK" "news" that's infesting Google Search.

I don’t understand the logic behind this - If evilore is one of the founders/current owner, wouldn’t buying neogaf essentially give him even more money for being.... well, not a nice guy?
