Two of my Facebook friends got married today and yesterday respectively, and I couldn't help but think it seemed like the worst possible time to have a wedding, as people are often flying out to see their parents etc, or otherwise want to enjoy a week of chilling out rather than having to dress up smart and mobilise (at cost during the most expensive time of the year, no less).

Bear in mind I'm not really criticising these people, just kinda amazed that anyone could have the mental wherewithal to be arsed with a wedding on Christmas week (unless you don't celebrate, of course).

"things get good" as in have sex? You may want to read up on book of subconciousness. Also, have sex is have sex. If you don't want to say it out loud in real life, your dream mind doesn't want to deal with it either.

Yeah, sounds like you're a bit repressed OP. I am too (was raised deeply Catholic) with lots of shame around sex. I so wish I could get that stuff out of my subconscious.

Was raised Catholic and have always been (and still remain) incredibly repressed.

Most of my sexual dreams consist of extremely mild foreplay with zero nudity. After some time, either my parents come home, the door fails to stay shut or the person I’m with vanishes. I can count on maybe one hand the number of times I’ve had graphic sex in my dreams.

I’m of the opinion that dream analysis is largely a bunch of pseudoscientific crap but stuff like this makes me reconsider that stance. How you were raised truly does color you for life, which is why we dream of high school for years following graduation.

I never had sex with anyone in my dreams besides my wife. I clearly remember having dreams about previous crushes and other attractive people, but stopping myself from doing anything with them them because I was already committed.

I don't try to think too much about it, because if remained faithful even in my dreams, I can't deny the feelings I felt, which makes this a really weird subject.

Try to find out the reason you are scared of making commitment, more than your piers. Lay it out and examine the original motivation from a long time ago. Remember it. Post it on reddit if you don't want to say it here.

I been dreaming about having sex before I even knew what sex was. When I was a wee lad it was a vampire lady who was holding my parents hostage unless she could touch my pee pee.

On the one hand, I feel a bit insulted at the insinuation that I am a bad influence to my brother-in-law or to their relationship, over my character choices in a video game or sharing games in general. Also insulted at the insinuation that I play Lili for her attire (which I actually consider pretty tame compared to katarina, etc), and not the fact that her moveset is incredibly fun to mash out.

On the other hand, while it could be my sister is just prudish or insecure, maybe there are reasons/things going on that I don't know, as to why she would make these requests.. I've never been married so I can't relate fairly.

For context, I was showing my brother-in-law the ropes of Tekken when they visited last week. My sister, who doesn't play games, watched as we played several matches. I played Lili, who I main. She didn't say anything then, but apparently had a problem with it. I don't know what to say. My sister and I typically get along, but I feel kind of pissed off..
