That's World of Warcraft. Warcraft/2/3 are RTS games.

The situation with it is pretty gooseberry fool from what I've heard.

- It's barely an upgrade. Some people have compared it to a half-hearted mod project
- The T&Cs contain a clause that means Blizzard own the rights to any custom maps, game mods or mods anyone might make for. They're basically still smarting over the fact they couldn't claim DOTA as their own.
- The game lacks features and content from the original game.
- Blizzard have effectively "nuked" the original game. You can't play it anymore as Battle.Net updates it.

Why does this thread keep appearing on the front page, why is it such a big thread? I don't think i've ever ventured in here as it does not interest me in the slightest but it seems to just keep goddamn reappearing.

So, my ex's family has a pet dog that my 6 yr old comes home talking about. Im embarrassed for her to say the dogs name. Its a black dog. They named it "Blackie".

Now...my ex says no big deal. I think its 100% racist and I am embarrassed. Era's thoughts?
