Viva Pinata.

It didn't sell at all, did it?

It was their greatest game since the N64 days. It was just so addictive and there was nothing else on the 360 that even dared to be like it. I wonder how it was on PC, as I doubt many people gave it a look in on LIVE. They could have done more with the online modes, admittedly.

It would actually be a great 3DS/Vita game, if we were living in Dreamland. Portability would be a boon, the touch screen would sort out a few niggles with the controls, and the 3DS's second screen could clear out some of the longer treks through the menus. You did often have to pause play just to find a small detail out about a pinata.

Sod it, it would even be good on the Wii U's gamepad to be honest. It seems fairly well suited to that kind of off-screen play.

They did a ds version. I really wish I had got it.

The pc one is sill good.

Someone should tell Sega that then, so they can start doing it again.

The past couple of Sonic games have been pretty good.

Well your saying Resident Evil 6 is great doesn't help you either.

Resi 6 was good. I enjoy the stories, liked how they intersected, had fun playing the game etc. The only thing missing was a final unlockable campaign where everyone is playable.

The Sonic games were mediocre at best, nothing great about them. 3D platformers used to be my favourite genre, look at the landscape now :(

The Sonic games were good, and the landscape is rather empty nowadays because platformers don't sell like they used to; the market for them has shrunk drastically. It's all dudebro shooters these days.

IF it's going to be Banjo, make a 3D platformer, not one disguised as a Lego game.

Yeah that would be amazing.

I've pretty much narrowed it down in my mind to,

Banjo Threeie
Killer Instinct 3
Perfect Dark 2

Of those I think Banjo as a 3D platformer would have the easiest ride as the fighting genre and especially the FPS genre are overcrowded and very competitive.

I wouldn't mind Kameo 2 or Viva Pinata but I wouldn't call them "Historic IP"

Viva Pinata? Kameo? Or maybe the new Fable game?

Looks nice anyway.

Viva Pinata where you dont just have to make do with a square flat garden, but your "garden" is a whole island, mountains ,forest/woods, beaches, the sea  Viva Pinata Island

Then again, it might be a new Kameo, which i wouldnt mind at all

Would like Rare to be doing a proper 3D platformer in that screen alomg with Perfect Dark 2. If they were I really wouldn't mind if their 3rd game was Kinect Sports 3 as the first one was pretty good craic for a diverting collection of mini-games.

Rare are dead, I don't know how many times I need to keep saying this, but pretty much every single good one of their staff members have left already.

There'll be a trailer with a camera going through incredible worlds in the Banjo universe, the music and sights, characters and cameos, everything and then right at the end, Nuts and Bolts 2.

Not holding hopes up for Blast Corps 2, it was canned because of 9/11 due to sensitivity issues, a new Perfect Dark is more likely. Last time I spoke with someone at Rare they said they were recording lots of weapon noises, didn't say what for. Mind you, this was a good few years ago, probably the pistol start sound for a Sports title. :fp:

Refuse to get hyped about Rare.

Stop it please, people hire new staff all the time, you have no idea how "good" these people are. No doubt some people have left Nintendo who made Super Mario World, doesn't mean the next Mario is automatically gooseberry fool.

That would be perfect, if they had three games on the go then I would love,

Perfect Dark 2
Banjo Threeie
Viva Pinata Kinect

That would be perfect

Just a thought but Insomniac are working on a exclusive for Xbox One, what about if they were to make a Jet Force Gemini?

Ratchet & Clank was very much in that vein right? So Insomniac could be a good fit.

That screen looks very much like a Kameo sequel. Same sprites, some sort of magical portal at the back of that screen, like Kameo, and the same mix of snow/grass worlds right next to each other.

That would actually be great, the first was one of the best launch titles for 360.

I'm sure that thee market for platformers could increase again if someone bothered to make a decent one... :(
