Finally got round to playing that Deliver Us the Moon game since I saw it was on Gamepass. Love me some sci-fi.
It's alright for one of those narrative-puzzler kinda games. Think it starts off better than it finishes. Launching the rocket and the initial zero-G sections really make you feel like you're a proper astronaut, but the very last section really puts a bit of a damper on the whole package.
Trying to align the last MPT while your guy keeps passing out and pushing the stick out of alignment was the most frustrating way to end what'd been a pretty decent game up until thenIt was good fun all in all, though. Will go through to mop up the rest of the achievements, because somehow I missed a few collectibles
Does seem to leave a lot of lose threads, but I guess since it was a Kickstarter game that's pretty much par for the course. Plays like a cheap game in places, too. Really juddery at times.
6/10 but it'd be a 7 if it was a little more polished.
There was a similar zero-G demo I played on a VR headset the once and I'd love a full VR space game. No chance of me ever going into space otherwise
