A random shot in the dark but Google is little help. Does anyone had a recipe for Irish veg roll? I google and google but can't find one anywhere. I know it contains - Beef, Carrot, Leek, Pepper and spices, but no 'recipes' seem to state the quantities. No butchers around here sell it, not even the Irish ones, so making it is my only option :(

It should be too hard to make, it's just meat, spices and veg. :slol:

Thanks. I'll give it a go. That one on the Belfast Forum seems to be the only one on the internet. I found some links to others but the website containing them is long since dead. I even resorted to scouring cached copies but no luck.

I imagine this is what the world would be like if they did shut down BBC Food.

That recipe seems to be an interesting regional way of serving leftovers from a Sunday roast. You could probably put anything you like in it.

I'm interested in trying it though. I assume you just cook the slices like a burger, yeah?

An Irish Veg Roll has beef in it?

Do Irish vegans eat eggs?

There's a vegetable roll recipe on a blog called Grubbed Up that you can search for.

1 tbsp veg
2 3/4 turns of roll

Combine the ingredients in a pint glass.
