@Super Dragon. Okay, okay, it's not a strict rule! But basically the thinking is a brand new console can sell itself. A brand new game can sell itself. There is no need for manufacturer or third party publisher to compromise their profits with a bundle so that's why they are rarely put together. In this instance, after they abysmal XBone unveiling and post E3 conference there was a need for Microsoft to do everything they could to win over the European market. So they paid full whack for a new game. I don't have the facts on this, but I would guess that they paid EA the same as EA would have made selling them from retail.

This is instantly, easily my most anticipated upcoming game.

RDR was amazing. Great atmosphere, beautiful environment, good story. I spent a lot of time exploring so by the time I got to Mexico it did drag a bit, but it was amazing regardless. All they need to do is add more side quests, activities and random encounters.

I get that a lot of the characters bordered on caricatures, but that's the case with almost all videogames. The vast majority of writing and characters in games, especially ones trying to be cool/funny/edgy/deep come across as unbelievable, juvenile and/or simplistic. In RDR it was done well imo.

I think it's 4 PM. Definitely sometime in the late afternoon, though.

Red Dead Redemption finally clicked for me. :toot:

Managed to be dastardly and kidnapped a lady and placed her on the train track.

Easily one of the best achievements/trophies.

Just because they've announced for PS4 and Xbox One, doesn't mean they aren't going to announce for other platforms in the future.

It would actually kind of make sense to keep NX off the initial game reveal till after the NX console reveal...

...on the other hand it depends what this console is, if it is underpowered compared to the PS4/Xbox One and/or it has some other feature that the standard consoles don't have then it makes it less likely. Then there is the fact its a Nintendo console, there's never been a mainline Rockstar game on a Nintendo console has there?

You could argue Body Harvest and Space Station Silicon Valley. :shifty:

It'd be a gooseberry fool argument, mind.

I said mainline.

Anyway nothing made by Rockstar North (unless you count Chinatown Wars which they had involvement in, but was I think mostly handled by Rockstar Leeds).

Really hope this is a big leap over the original, which hasn't aged well.

I want MUCH bigger towns, more convincing characters and as-close to cinematic photorealism as possible.

Here's hoping the trailer is more than just a small teaser.

GTA V reveal

You mean the poster which shows 7 main characters is going to involve character switching?
