You can carry on after the game ends.

The only thing that I’m out of luck is the bloody errands for your camp mates.

I haven’t really done many collectibles, hunting etc so might as well restart the game and feed both Arthur and horse properly. :slol:

But that’s for another time. I’ve redownloaded the first RDR game on my ps3 and finish that for the first time ever, but again that’s for another time.

Can anyone tell me if I can go back to the game world after the credits roll to finish off challenges? Or is it proper game over then.

Yes you can go back and do the challenges. To clear up the side missions, collectibles, hunting and etc but if you miss the errands then you’ll have to start all over again.

I need to go back to it as I’m currently on 95%.

God damn what a game

Comfortably my GOTG and that may well be the best game I've ever played. I certainly can't think of another game that's nearly moved me to tears on several occasions. Amazingly told story, stunning graphics, the best open world I've ever seen.

I 'finished' with 89% completion in the end.

Oh and Mrs Sadler as the main character in the next game please :datass:

Sorry if this has been posted already but I just came across it again and it makes some really good points about how hypocritcal rockstar games are.

I think it's why I'm not really excited by them anymore. They try and emulate films too much and as a result have lost that 'video game' identity.

I do quite like NakeyJakey. Video doesn't make any groundbreaking points, but covers RDR2 really well with use of specific instances within that game.

Just encountered those scary zombie night people :dread: caught me totally off guard. Was doing some exploring around the Lagras area and saw a guy hanging from a tree when they just came from out of the swamp. Headshotted the three of them then hot tailed it out of there as fast as Kielbasa could gallop me.

Currently on chapter 4 and starting to properly concentrate on the main missions rather than messing around with the side missions and challenges like I always do. The story itself is great and the missions are fun and varied, if a little too signposted.

Anybody else playing through this for the first time?

I had a bit of a go on Friday night, took forever for the new missions to pop up on map so didn't do any of them,, ended up doing a bit of hunting, a daily challenge, bought a gun and played about 90 minutes of poker, won about $20, annoyingly no XP for playing cards for some reason.

It's better, but it's still lacking the appeal and options of things you can do GTA online has or even post DLC RDR. And it suffers from the same problems. The main one being PVP gun play is garbage and they've heavily invested in the PVP. The additions they have made are good but it still needs more.

I didn't get greifed once in the few hours I played though which was a first. Will probably jump back in at some point see what the missions are saying.

Still haven't completed this, stuck at about 60% and haven't played it for a few months now.

Took my daughter to Disneyland Paris for her birthday last week and spent far too long in the "Frontierland" zone, definitely gave me the itch to do some rootin-tootin-cowboy-shootin! :slol:

Just started the game this evening after taking an hour and a half to install on PS4. Now set up camp for the first time. God damn this control scheme is the most dense I've ever used. And I have no idea what 90% of the symbols on the screen mean. Did I do the tutorial wrong? :slol:

It does take a while to get used to the controls.

I shot a dog by accident. Punched my horse by accident. Got on the wrong horse by accident.

So finally finished this. It’s a masterpiece imo, from visuals, to story to the soundtrack. Up with the Witcher 3 as one of the greatest open world games ever made.

Agreed. It's up in my top 3 greatest games I've ever played, never mind open world ones. Absolutely loved it.

I'm up to 62% and have most recently completed the Guarma section. Oh and Arthur finally got his tuberculosis diagnosis.

Am I that far from the end?

I get to play my PS4 on average for about an hour a week, I'll probably never get to the end  :dread:
