I hate this time of year: first there's Valentine's Day, then my wedding anniversary at the end of the month and, as my wife is Russian, I also have to do something for International Women's Day on 8 March, which is a big public holiday over there. By the end of all that, I'm all romantic-ed out!

Ok. Lovely place in Scotland, old miners house, loch on one side, mountain on the other, 30 min drive to nearest civilisation. Weather good.

Night 1, planned in advance and got my excuses in earlier. On the way there let her know I was really tired and just wanted to go to bed. Watched some movies, went to bed. She kept trying to get into my pants (I slept with them on for my own protection and because it was strawberry floating freezing), after a couple of hours I just pretended to be asleep and she left me alone.

Day 1, nice day out in the nearest town. Good time, good food, nae bad at all.

Night 2, watched movies, I planted a seed earlier in the day that I was having some stomach pains and was quite unfortable. That was mostly true, I actually kept waking up throughout the first night with stomach cramps, side effect of the pills I take, but no biggie. Anyway, night was dragging on and again she kept trying to be cute etc and get me going, I was just ignoring her and watching the film. Film finished and credits played and it became clear she wasnt going to budge until I at least attempted to reciprocate. Gave her a kiss, span out of control, ended up in her bed. Couldnt really think of a way out of it so I thought, strawberry float it. Shes been nice, shes been patient, I dont really want to, but Im here now. Left the light off, closed my eyes, thought of Emma, and made her see god. Had her strawberry floating howling (there was a neighbor in the other apartment and the walls are dead thin, I heard them just get up and walk out of the room ), but I didnt pop once. I tried really hard to get into it but I just dont fancy her at all. Did my best fakes and tried to get to bed, but she wanted to cuddle and all that gooseberry fool so I had to do that for like a strawberry floating hour. By this point I was shattered so just made her put and movie on and when she went to cuddle again I didnt reciprocate and ignored her when she tried to kiss me, I was watching Pulp Fiction ffs.

This morning the same cuddle gooseberry fool, she keeps hassling Falsey Jr but to his credit he just stayed asleep and kept me out of any more trouble. Said I still felt bad, got into the shower, took ages, then said I need to go. Packed up and strawberry floated off.

On one hand I feel bad, because shes a really lovely girl and she was trying very hard. Personality wise we are a perfect match, but physically I just dont feel anything. What makes it worse is that she is really, really into me (who can blame her?) and keeps trying. On the other hand, I dont really care. Ive done my bit, Im not feeling like I owe her anything anymore, and Im going to start weening her off me by ignoring her when she tries to get in touch. If she asks me to go away or something again Im just going to keep putting it off until she forgets.

I think you need to marry her now and just learn to love her. Once the kids come along you can just focus on them. It will be okay, just a little bit like living with your sister, really.
