I wouldn't ask a line manager, if we were all equal ranking colleagues I could imagine having a chat with the other lass being like, is she single, you reckon she'd be up for it. Although admittedly I've never done it like that before myself.

In cap locks.

And it is being cc"d to everyone in your office.

And some 3rd party suppliers.

This might even go viral.

Go for it.

HR will be looped in at some point too.

HR already know. They don't think this is part of Fade's PD matrix.

I think face the facts and nothing is going to come of this. You ask the girl or you don't ask the girl. No risk, no reward. This is like generating one of those theoretical "what would you do?" Exercises in a citizenship class discussing ethics when nobody cares what the answer is because there isn't a right one.

"It should be common sense to just accept the message Nintendo are sending out through their actions."

Ask her some questions a few more times. Tell her something about yourself and see if she asks further questions? Most people are polite enough to respond to a question with a question. HOWEVER it's not always the case, sometimes we all forget.

I'm going to say this one last time, if it doesn't stick this time I'm just gonna sit back and <popcorn emoji>

Fade, you want to ask a girl out, who is on your team.

There is only one scenario in which this is a good idea. The odds are not in your favour here.

Scenario one: she laughs in your face.
Scenario two: she says no but doesn't laugh on your face, but laughs at you behind your back with all of your colleagues..
Scenario three: she says OK, you go on a date which is a disaster and she tells all your colleagues
Scenario four: you get my drift.

right Im back on my gooseberry fool

Ive got three semi serious girlfriends on the go at the moment, but they are all in different counties so they wont run into eachother - the plan is to narrow it down to one over the next couple of months when I decide who is best

Ive been strawberry floating about a fair bit the last month or so and have drawn some interesting conclusions after being out of the serious dating game for a few years

the age range is 19-39 as Ive wanted to get a good sample and Ive come to the realisation that 28-32 is the optimal age for a woman. They still have their looks and good bodies but most importantly they are at ease with themselves and the mind works better. The 19 year olds had insane bodies but were just so boring outside of objects to observe and just arent worth the hassle to get them into bed, older than about 32 they either get really fun or really weird but the bodies whilst still nice cant compete with the 30's. Also around this golden window its about the period where they are wanting to settle or get hold of someone interesting so they work a bit harder on their end too

all the best times Ive had over the last few months are around this golden age window so I think thats where Ill focus most of my energy

also, I dont know if the scene has changed since I was last seriously on it or if its a component of my age but I feel like Im more of an attractive prospect these days - maybe Ive grown into my face a bit or its the greys coming through or maybe just more of an internal confidence? but Im able to get through the difficult first breaking period much easier than I used to which widens the potential pool a lot wider

dont know if Ill settle or just check it all out for a while but being careful not to burn too many bridges

I was saying this to someone the other day - I'm very much not enjoying the ageing process, but the one thing I look forward to about growing older is a salt-and-pepper beard(because Christ knows I won't get to go grey  ).

I've noticed an acceleration in the grey buildup with my own hair over the last year or so. I've had traces of grey around the temples for years but never anything that was detectable unless you were really looking for it, but recently it's becoming much more pronounced.

Quite like it myself. :D

I've had grey hair since my early 20s, it's definitely accelerated recently though.

My wife hates it and wants me to dye it...I know full well she's worried about my silver fox look being too sharp however :datass:

Totally silver these days. Until last I was rocking the bad santa look then I went to the barber and it is more hipster santa now

I found my first grey hair when I was 16.

Slowly getting more silvery as time goes on and it doesn't bother me in the slightest. There's some in my beard as well, but again I quite like it.

I think when you first start noticing it you have a window of a few months when you have to decide how to proceed. If you start early enough you can probably dye it without many people noticing and then as long as you keep it up you can get away with it.

Personally that's more effort than I'm willing to put in.

I will be pure white at some point though. My Dad has been for the past 10 years or so, so I think I've got another 15 years before I hit that point.
