Edit: reading that back that sounds a little harsh, like I'm trivialising your experience. Wasn't meant that way, I was thinking more that your friend is acting immature and creating the drama.

I'm so glad this technology didnt exist 20 years ago, because the thought of drunkenly getting home from the club at 2am and engaging in virtual sex while role playing as a ninja turtle, then getting caught by my parents, is just too cringeworthy to even think about.

Just watched some full body tracking vr videos (not porn), that's pretty wild. Didn't even realise that really existed.

Honestly doing what I've been doing in VR isn't anything I ever imagined I would be doing, but uh it made me realise I was bi so that's something I guess.

It's definitely not what you've said there. I think the issue is they really like the other guy, but they refuse to ever be exclusive with anyone again. So the issue is it feels like they want them to be exclusive with him while they can do whatever they want. The other guy is close enough with them that he's probably going along with that and I just have to deal with it.

It just sucks, because now I just feel shitty and alone. I don't feel like I've done anything wrong, but I've lost two of the people I used to enjoy doing stuff with and I can't do anything about it and it's all because my friend is jealous.

I've been in a long distance relationship for a few months now. Maybe we should do VR gooseberry fool.

You haven't done anything wrong, so you shouldn't be thinking of the situation like that. Those two friends should at least realise your feelings have been hurt from their actions, and talk to you. Give it a few days. Hopefully they both remain friendly.

Just plow him and worry about the firmware update technicalities later
