Well the other guy says what's ended up happening is what he wants so I'll respect it. He said he enjoyed the time we spent together and he's sorry it's made me feel gooseberry fool. He said he's been given the same level of freedom of what my friend has now so I guess they've ended up getting into a relationship of some kind. Basically my friend things me feeling bad now is my just desserts for getting involved with the person I did and that they want to move on from this and forget about it all. They're saying if it happens between us it happens, but they're telling me not to specifically invite the person anymore. Basically it seems it's resolved, but after I don't know what the purpose of the whole strawberry floating drama was to begin with. Essentially it seems my friend felt that because the other person was spending a bunch of time with me it made them feel insecure about the other persons feelings towards them. They got annoyed because they felt like I was only spending time with the person because they were close to them which wasn't the case at all and after a 2 hour discussion we finally resolved the situation and we both fully understand each other better I guess. Just feels like the entire thing was a massive waste of time. I'm thankful that my friend has said it's fine if I hang out with the other guy even if they don't particularly like it and when I told the other guy he seemed glad that it's resolved as well.

I never thought that I would end up being stuck in any situations like this. Explaining it to anyone else feels insane because of how utterly weird it is and even thinking about it myself I can't quite believe the level of drama I've managed to get myself into over essentially what equates to jacking off with other guys online.

Explanation.

To explain it in the easiest way without it sounding very weird essentially everyone plays VRChat. Some people get something called Phantom Touch which essentially means if someone touches your avatars body you can feel it in real life. For some people it's a lot stronger than others, but if someone has that it's usually better than not. What it ends up coming down to is mostly it's two guys helping each other jack off using the means available in game and their voice (although some people use a voice changer and some people are mute). There are girls that do it as well, but they're much rarer and most will stick to not even using a mic as, unsurprisingly people get strawberry floating weird around girls for the obvious reasons. People also add other bits to help this process to their avatars like a system called DPS which allows someone to put essentially a dick on their avatar and other people to put holes in that the dick kinda either goes through or disappears into completely. When you have full body tracking essentially your avatars body moves the way your body moves, it may not be 1-1 but it's close enough.

I never, ever thought for one second that I'd start doing this and just the thought I do started off as somewhat embarrasing so I'd never tell anyone, but by this point I've done it enough to realise it feels good, it helped me understand my own sexuality better IRL and I've met some really nice people because of it. It is odd, it's definitely not normal by any sense of the word, but if you're far away from someone it gives you the opportunity to have fun with them and feel as if you're actually there with them. Even hugging someone in VR feels really comforting.
