This is very high school but it's pissed me off quite a bit so I'm getting it off my chest.

Tuesday was Pub Quiz night, and I went out with a mate and when it hit 10pm (current closing hours for bars), I noticed that my phone was dead. Coz I'm a regular at this bar, me and mate were allowed to finish our drinks (so took us to 10:30) and, because I knew I had meds to take that need to be taken with food I got a kebab. I got home about 11pm and got it in the strawberry floating neck from my partner about how I should have been home earlier, didn't know where I was etc etc.

Now, at the time, her (not unreasonable) worry is that whole city blocks can be shut down and quarantined without notice due to Covid (and I'm talking full on police, military lockdown etc with no warning or ability to leave).

So I fell on my sword, apologised for not sending a message via my mate etc etc.

Tonight, I got a message saying she's going for Happy Hour with the girls (no location given), and when it came to dinner time (again, I have meds that need to be taken with food) I sent several messages that went unanswered about whether she's coming home or whether I should sort myself. I had to actually ring her directly to get the message 'no it's fine, sort yourself', and now it's 11:20pm when bars closed at 10pm and I haven't heard a peep from her.

It's not her being out that's annoyed me. Have a night out, it's awesome, I can catch up on shitty horror nonsense that is only of interest to me. But I'm really strawberry floated off at getting it in the neck not four days ago about how thoughtless and selfish I am for not letting her know where I am when I was maybe an hour late home compared to complete radio silence when I've got no idea where she is.
