Don't get hung up on any single person or conversation Rula, most messages won't lead to conversations, and most of your conversations probably won't lead to dates. Just know that's how online dating works and that, as Rocsteady says, it's a numbers game. Don't get disheartened and don't waste your energy on a dead-end, just move on. Everything is more experience.

I'd agree on your profile, trim it down so it's short and concise, but still mentions broadly your interests. You want to give people something easy to talk or ask you about.

To be fair I think if you have kinks that are important to you that you don't want to do without better to tell people early , pre date in my opinion. I come to this conclusion after being told in the middle of a first date that she had a fursona and was only sexual while in her fursona, if she had told me this first I wouldn't have wanted the date.... Not kink shaming its just not my thing even in the slightest

If her fursona were a cat or a bunny then that's weird but I think I could learn to find it cute, but if it were more like a rhino or a t-rex then I'd have to pass.

Many dinosaurs were kind of hairy but you've got me with rhinos -- but I reckon a woolly mammoth or a wild boar would still put me off.
