Been out with that girl from work twice now (just went for a drink the first time, drink and then cinema second) we get on well and after the second she suggested we have a day out together so we can have a chance to really talk and stuff.

Anyway, that day out is this Saturday, we are going to head down the seafront as the weather is nice and go for a walk along the beach, thinking maybe go along the pier and do some fun stuff then take her for lunch/dinner.

This being the 3rd time we will go out together i’m sort of taking this as the ‘will this be something or won’t it’ type of day out. She must be at least slightly interested to suggest having a day out together but she’s really hard to read.

Am I thinking too much into it? How much importance do y’all place in a 3rd date?

At the end of the third date she'll present you with the Winnowing Bell. If she rings it thrice it means you may accompany her in the dance of the Matriculate (good). If the bell sounds an extra time it is a signal her father is of good character. Another and you can expect her dowry to be fat with riches.

If, however, it rings only the two times (or even once should the night end on a waxing third quarter moon) you must touch your left flank to the ground in penitence and make quick your exit, for she has deemed you not fitting of her grace.

Hey guys I need a bit of advice

Basically I'm hopefully going for a date over the weekend with a really cute girl, like the kind of girl that's probably just a little bit out of my league.

I am still living with my ex even though we have be broken up for around 6 months, just because it's easier for everyone involved (she's moving to a different country). Do I mention this and if so how do I mention it?

I think it shows quite a bit of emotional maturity but understand it could very easily scare someone off.

An issue for me?

I guess I'll just refer to her as my room mate?

Okay cheers. I guess if I have to bring it up I'll just say we dated for a bit but it didn't work out so we just decided to be friends.

But then if she asks how I met my roomate I don't know what to say, I want to be as truthful as possible.

One of my female friends was completely put off a guy she had originally really liked as he still lived with his Ex, she was convinced he was still in love with the ex.

It's a happy ending though, she got a new boyfriend, and he still lives with his ex, and his ex has a new boyfriend too.

In my defence I am literally in the process of moving out. I guess I should probably lead with that :slol:

Today I initiated conversation with a woman, asked her out for coffee, and she said yes. These are huge steps for me, as usually I am utterly incapable of doing these things.

Good going! Hope the date goes great!
I'm incapable of talking to any hot guys I see in coffee shops so you've definitely made a big step.
