I've been playing it a bit the last couple of nights after seeing quite a few YouTube videos hyping it up. I'm really enjoying it, has a good mash-up of Demon Souls and ARPG Looter Shooter aspects. Some completely different worlds so it doesn't feel the same and randomly generated levels again so it doesn't feel repetitive. Definitely a sleeper hit release, they've just sold over a million copies across all platforms.
Definitely recommend if people are fancying a 3rd Person shooter. It's £29.99 (PC) and £32.99 (XSX) on CD Keys at the moment
Up to 12 hours of game time and really enjoying this. I'm playing it on normal difficulty and it's just about the right test for me without getting too infuriating ala Elden Ring etc.
Boss fights are fantastic and really tough but once you learn the attack patterns can be countered. The World Bosses are amazing and massive spectacles, so far two worlds down and onto the third now. I've created some Weapons from items I've got from World Bosses which are unique and fun, but I'm still mainly using my LMG just with the amount of rounds it holds you can take on multiple enemies without worrying too much.

This does look to be really smart, JC. It seems that few GRcadians have picked up the game but it's good to hear that you're having a good time with it.
And completed, just over 16 hours. Last boss was an absolute bastard to kill, but finally managed it on the umpteenth attempt.
Really enjoyable game, never normally one for Souls-like games but this one connected with me and the difficulty was just about right for me without getting infuriating.
End game you can either re-roll the campaign or do adventure mode which just refreshes the different worlds and gives you new bosses and redesigns the map. I did a little bit of it but I'm not enamored to just grind for the sake of it.
Wanted to get it finished before Starfield and I did that, definitely one of my top games for this year so far, but for the time being I've uninstalled it, might return to it if there's DLC.
For those who have played them, is it worth just skipping straight to 2? I probably don't have time to play both and IGN review reads that 2 is a real evolution on the first one.
I'm guessing I'm missing a whole chunk of world building by going straight to 2. It's a confusing blur of story at the moment. Tempted to read the plot from one on Wiki.
