Tip for dodging a bit easier, do it while aiming and it seems to be so much easier especially against Nemesis.

There's a shotgun upgrade in the warehouse that's a pain in the bum to find - it's after you slide between the two shelves, there's a set of stairs to go up. Before you go up them, bring the nearby lift down and run through. The upgrade is there.

Other than that, they're all fairly standard. Two drop from Nemesis, one's in a safe near the start of the game(the code is in the pharmacy), one's a reward for finding all three jewels, one's in Kendo's gun shop, one is in the control room right after the warehouse for Jill. Carlos finds his assault rifle upgrades in a safe in the police station west office (1F - the code is the same as it is in Resident Evil 2), in the hospital courtyard(drop down from the upper floor) and in a safe in the hospital (code is, I think, in the staff room).

Ahhhh it’s the safe on at the hospital I think, I remember now going back as Jill to open it but was already open and I didn’t open it when playing as Carlos :fp:

I'm sure I've got all these but am still missing 1.

Started Nightmare last night. Hasn't been too bad so far, but as it's basically one hit kill, I can see just hitting a brick wall of frustration. I'm told you're supposed to use the bonus items for this but it seems weird that something wouldn't be locked behind doing them clean.

What do people recommend, is there really no point trying to do these hard modes without using the bonus items.

I think I got my answer when bodies started falling out the sky.

This is kind of dumb.

Found the last doll at least, in the cafe.

I mean they’re doable without the coins but you’ll have a hell of a time on inferno trying to get an S Rank without the regeneration coins and probably an infinite weapon too.

Is it the same as RE2 where you can't get S+ ranks with bonus items.

Edit: Just seen that there is no S+, this increasingly feels like it could have used 6 more months in the oven.

So you just straight up can’t beat Nemesis 4 on Nightmare without cheats. What bullshit. The more I discover about this game the more disappointed I am with it.

Bastard’s down, without infinite weapons. Seems like an utterly stupid fight to me. Dread to think what it’s like on Inferno but I certainly won’t be going in without infinite ammo.

It’s exactly the same on inferno, that bit tops out on Nightmare. It’s super tough though.

And first speed run down on Assisted. Found the final weapon part but still missing one document, after 5 playthrough S I’ve no idea where it is.

Have you got the one pinned to the wall when Nemesis is shooting rockets at you? That one's easily missable.

Where is this? I couldn’t find anything other than the one about the Electrical generators, which I already had.

When you’re running through the alleyways at the start of the fight it’s cheekily round a corner after a fire, it’s like a chicane almost, you keep going straight in the same direction. I don’t know if that helps at all but good luck!

Yeah I think you mean the Electrical generators one which is there from the start of the game.

Just did my Standard S rank run with no cheese.

Made it by 4 seconds

I know it's doable a lot quicker than that and I could do it close to an hour, but I dicked about a lot. Was going like the clappers by the end and had to make the run from the lab save room to make the vaccine them beat both bosses I'm under 10 minutes! Almost botched the Carlos shot too

I definitely don’t mean one at the electrical generators. It’s after you go to Kendo’s gun shop. Then you go through the house. Cut scene plays where Nemesis fires a rocket launcher at you, then you run and turn left. There’s a zombie at the end of this alley, where I think you turn right. Then there’s a fire on the left hand side(on the harder difficulties a parasite zombie comes out of the fire) and the wall on the right hits a corner(though it’s only about half way down the passage way - at the end you turn left and there’s another cut scene where he jumps on top of a car and starts launching rockets at you). The note I’m talking about is round that corner.

According to this video there’s nothing there

There’s two around there but you’ll normally get them when you walk past on your way to the substation.
