I'm a bit behind all of you lot but I am absolutely loving this game so far.

The last thing I did last night was get the arm and make my way back to the caravan. Felt like a good place to stop after the events that preceded it. :slol:

Anyone tell me roughly how far through I am?

About half way I'd say.

Just finished this and for the most part, I loved it.

As others have said, it loses its way a little toward the end but overall I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the game.

A quick question regarding the end: Does the DLC explain what happens to Lucas or did I miss something about where he disappears to?

Still unexplained. Sequel bait, probably.

Aaah okay, thanks.

Looking forward to the Redfield DLC. Nice of Capcom to make it free as well.

Not so much the ending, but the 2nd Banned Footage tape DLC has a level called 'Daughters' where, through Zoe's eyes, you get to play out how the Bakers became what they are. I haven't finished it yet, but it's pretty good.

Finally gritted my teeth and made some headway into this and extremely glad I did too; it's the most atmospheric game I've played since Alien: Isolation. Not that that's a coincidence of course, you can see the influence of that game everywhere. How great are the Bakers though? What could have been personality free spooks are instead riotous monsters that have made me laugh out loud quite a few times ("strawberry floating shitcock!"). The garage fight with Jack was especially great, first time round I didn't realise I could get in the car, so Jack nipped in instead and ran me over doing a donut.

Class.

Yeah its been delayed. Really enjoying the DLC, the nightmare mode, is addictive but a strawberry floating ball ache. The final hour I always run out of ammo! :x

uuuurgh, just got through the attic section, going after the arm. Squinty eyes/volume on low all the way through.

Quite enjoying this so far, loved the not so subtle Evil Dead 2 nod when you have the chainsaw fight with Jack and he proclaims "Groovy".

Just started playing this tonight, only a couple hours in but loving it so far..... made me jump a few times!

Quick question, does the Lockpick automatically break after a couple of uses or something? I had it in my inventory and used it a couple of times and now I can't find it

They are single use as far as I'm aware, like the small keys in Resi 2.

Need some help

I've got to the Jack fight where he pushes you into the pit/room with the body bags and it's kicking my arse. He's constantly up my arse so i can't get enough room to hit a body bag at him, then when I finally get to the part where I get the chainsaw he cuts all the body bags off and kills me

Any tips how to get past this bit?

Have you got the shotgun?

You can block with the chainsaw and dodge high attacks by crouching.

Bought this in the sale for £30. So far...... It reminds me of Condemned (Dreamcast) which I never got more then 5 minutes into as it was too scary.

I've just saved the game and I'm now looking for where to put my fuse.

It's horribly tense. Fear of jump scares, first person, no real defense, limited lighting. It's just very intense. I was fine with all previous Resident Evil games and Dead Space 1 and 2. I'll soldier on and hopefully get more weapons and used to the atmosphere.

Love the combat so far, that axe feels very nice to swing.

Wish my image sig would work
