Retro Gaming Score Challenges

I know some will feel that thise belongs in the challenges system but it would get lost in there as it is mainly used for online gaming.
So I was thinking who would be up for doing retro high score challenges? It could be a different game every week and it would be good friendly competition. There may be issues with game choices because not everyone will have game X. I know most forums frown the use of emulators I don't know how it is here. I know that emulators for the old 8-bit computers (spectrum etc) are legal and free but not everyone will want to do that.

Anyway this is just a proposal, if anyone hasd ideas then share them and if someone feels that they are better suite4d at running this then feel free to say.

I'd certainly be interested.
