The PS1 cores in Retroarch are pretty much all you need. I think I use Beetle HW, which is pretty good. PS1 stuff upscales nicely as well.

I didn't get too far, but I really liked it, and plan at some point to play more.

It didn't seem that way for a while, we got there in the end though. Hadn't played it before then and I must say it was good.

OK, Devlin has thrown a curve ball. I'm all for this myself and if this goes well, we can see about more things like it, from you guys who want to see something you love, but a little different.

Here's we go.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past - Randomizer (SNES)
Super Metroid/A Link To The Past - Randomizer (SNES)
Ocarina of Time - Randomizer (N64)

To throw my opinion here. All three of these are decent choices.

ALTTP is probably going to be the easiest to pick up and get on with as Pedz knows it reasonably well to begin with.
SM/ALTTP is just ALTTP but with Super Metroid bolted onto it as well. If he's not familiar with Super Metroid it will be tougher. Super Metroid will also assume he can wall-jump and infinite bombjump (Though these are easy enough with some practice).
Ocarina of Time is big with the Randomizer community, but I think could be the trickiest if you aren't aware of where all the pick-ups are and their requirements.

So I'll be voting for ALTTP, because it'll be easier for Pedz to get started.
