Time for some forgotten Game Boy classics. (Reviews from
Total! magazine.)
Dr FrankenBorrowed this from a friend. Undoubtedly one of the best GB games I played.

Monster MaxDeveloped by Rare, in 1994
GB Action magazine rated this isometric adventure title as the Game Boy's best ever game.
Rare have produced a fantastic 3D adventure. A very special game indeed. 90%
Parasol StarsThis is the sequel to Rainbow Islands and Bubble Bobble. Another game I borrowed from a mate, I remember playing this while waiting to be seen in hospital. I cannot remember why I was in hospital, but I do remember the fantastic music on this game (a midi version of the Lambada).
Don't let the cutesy graphics fool you, this is tough a very, very playable indeed. 92%
Just one more note on Parasol Stars that I've just learned.
"A ZX Spectrum port was planned, but later cancelled. The game was also planned for the Commodore 64, but it was cancelled as well. Ocean initially explained that the developer's computer was stolen in a burglary, but it was later revealed that the game was scrapped after the freelance developer's wife destroyed said computer in a drunken rage, along with the backups of the work."
