I'd have described it as an amazing game myself.

I had him kill me once, but didn't save afterwards.

It doesn't seem to have any consequences though, if you continue (which I did, without saving) you still have your stolen item and there was no money deducted either. I have yet to find out whether it will stop people from calling you THIEF...

I think one is eternally referred to as THIEF, even if death is suffered at the keeper's hands. I'm hoping that I don't die in the game, owed to the fact that I'd like to see the special ending, slightly poor as it is.

Man, I don't pop into retro for a while and this thread has moved on leaps and bounds.

I may be in for an R4 play-through. Someone PM me a link and instructions on how to get a GB game to run on my DS and I'll see how quickly I can catch up.

Can I have a quick roll call regarding which dungeon everyone is up to? I'll updated the first post.

I'm going to get started on the second lot of checkpoints now. It's odd, considering I only played the game fully last Christmas (I'd got about half way through a few years before that), but I do feel a bit of nostalgia toward the game.

It feels odd playing it during the warm summer weather though.

I'm just about to head to Catfish's Maw. So that's the first four dungeons done for me.

I  the Ballad of the Wind Fish.
