Unbeknownst to them, the regular crew (Parish, Sharkey, Barnholt, Kohler, and Bettenhausen) close out an era. Yet the show must go on, and brother, do we ever go on. At length: a year-end review show focusing not on 2008 but rather its older siblings 1988 and 1998. (And its weird uncle, 1978.)

This might be the last chance to hear Shane on an officially sanctioned 1up podcast.

Oh well, at least Retronauts shall continue.

That was a great episode :(

Shane knows so much about games it almost puts me to shame.

Good episode that. I always enjoy listening to their anecdotes about what gaming was like back in the late 80s seeing as I was just a kid at that point.

Although they are plain wrong about Resi 2 - it's still awesome and always will be.

8-)
