Hardest being the "boss" of the 5th biome?

It's the recurring enemy whose projectiles can cause malfunctions in 5th biome. The fact it's difficult to actually see the strawberry floater doesn't help matters.

Cheers.

Trying to get Hadal Keys. :dread:

I was hoping to keep one or two keys if I died, it doesn't. I have to do it all over again, but I know I will do it soon.

This is where I got to before dropping off the game. Don’t be me - fight through the pain. Going back now seems like too much.

Don't worry. I will fight it and beat the game. Knowing me, I will and it is doable. I have managed to reach sort of the mini boss and I made a mistake. I failed, but I will know what to do next time.

Don't be afraid to increse screen brightness if you're having trouble figuring out what you're looking at on that stage.

No, I have collected two Sunface Fragments so far in the first two Biome. I was on my way to the third Biome, but I decided to suspend the game and saved it until later on.

Returnal is a fantastic game. I ain't finished with it yet and my aim to get the platinum trophy.

At the beginning, I wasn't sure if I would like it or I actually will finish it. I found it can be a little frustrating to start with as you don't know what was happening with the enemies and layout of each Biome. End up, you also have to do it again and again every time you died.

I kept going until after Biome 3 then everything was just clicked. I found my style and rhythm how to play it, then it was beautiful to play and my preference weapon was a Hollowseeker with Portal Beam level two. It was so useful to back me up with the stronger enemies and I found it was breezing through to the final boss. Also, I had an astronaut back up too and my health was 200%. :datass:

I'd recommend to anybody who is giving up. Do. Not. Give. Up. I did it, so can you too. :toot:

Hollowseeker was my weapon of choice too, portal beam and portal turret are so good.

I tried out a few different weapons after completing it and it seems most of them get some version of really powerful abilities later on in the game, so all seem like viable options which is pretty cool. I preferred the auto fire of the hollowseeker but I know a lot of people swear by the electric pylon driver or rotgland lobber.

Yeah, I had that portal turret as well.

I've found three Sunface Fragments and how do I go to Biome 4 now? Fight the boss again or die and go back to the ship to use the portal thing to warp to Biome 4?

Unless you want to, you don't have to fight any bosses to get the fragments.

Managed to find all fragments. I'll fight the final boss again sometime this weekend to see the secret ending.

Then it'll be just collecting all stuff in each area. :toot:

Done the secret ending. 8-)

It's a brilliant game and it is definitely one of the best PS5 games.

So silky to play it. I'll be collecting stuff to get every area 100%. :datass:

Do the scout log or xenoglyphs appear randomly in each area?

Some will only appear in a particular zone but their location/appearance is random, yes.

The thread title should motivate me to be better. Maybe I will dig back in.

But not today (roll Gladiator credits).

But yeah, Hades is my current roguelike of choice, maybe when I have finally bested that.
