I got 3rd boss down to about, I dunno, 10%-ish. I'm not even upset that I didn't finish it, because, in the space of three encounters with it, I've gone from "How the strawberry float am I supposed to beat that?!!" to "I can smash its stupid face in. If A LOT of things fall my way." That's good progress. I think so anyway. (I think I may have increased my chances of beating it had I not gone RIGHT UP TO IT on final phase. It meant I was looking down at the target with no view of it attacking me until it was too late to dodge. Pretty dumb, that. But I figured it out quickly enough and was able to move back a bit without taking damage.)
There were moments during that session where I was passing up weaponry even though it was 3 levels above my carbine/Hollowseeker
Thank gawd I eventually lucked out and got the portal beam Hollowseeker.
I didn't bother taking on 2nd boss. Cleared the biome but didn't want to risk losing my HP and figurine pick ups. Turned out to be a good call.
Nerves are jangled to strawberry float
Won't be sleeping for a while now.
