Area 3 done and dusted!

What the actual strawberry float, everything’s changed and I’m confused. I had a plan and now I have none  :dread:

How many bosses/area's in Act 2? I think I read there are three acts.

There are three areas in both Act 1 and Act 2.

There is an Act 3 but that is simply revisiting Act 1 and Act 2 to obtain items to unlock the real ending.

I got lucky on my last run, basically picking up parasites that somehow made me invincible by constantly healing automatically. Without that I don’t think I’ll beat the area 3 boss. That was totally insane.

And now everything has changed.

You are where I am now, the next boss I can't get past. Granted I have only got to him once.

The area is definitely a ramp up in difficulty, but I thought the boss was one of the easier ones. The encounter itself...? The best moment in the game.

I always thought the second boss was the much easier one as I haven’t died there. But I haven’t played much of Area 4 yet.

I think having suped up weapons helped with 4th boss. 2nd boss, for me, was only easy compared to 3rd.

Are you lot doing the other biomes before getting to the latest one? I always did 'em as I felt having the extra benefits and buffs was worth the hassle of doing near full runs. (I usually avoided the waves room in all bar first biome.)

Second area for me has been the easiest so far. Lots of room to move around and dodge enemies

Yeah, I went through all the areas in the first two biomes.

I got lucky with augments and parasites. I got over 200% Suit, protection augments, damage boosts, melees get stronger and I can’t pick up any health recovery blobs but I keep getting self repaired. Also a parasite that let me absorb the next hit.

So when Nemesis came, I just stood there and let rip. If it wasn’t for the self repair kit I wouldn’t stand a chance.

I saw some stuff I can’t get pass and I assume it’ll come later (orange barriers, long death red rivers) but do you get anything that will let you swim?

I love this game. Much more than I thought I would. It’s not nails like Dark Souls or Bloodborne but it can be frustrating to repeat the same levels all over again.

The giant flying tombstone with tenactles can do one though.

Swimming: yes.

The orange barriers: upgrade sword at shop.

And yes, the auto-repair at low health is amaze. Saved me against final boss.

Not if it spawns in a lockdown area with empty land in area 4!

That’s the thing…. I wasn’t even low energy! Still in the second health bar when it starts repairing.

I take it back, level 4 boss was probably the easiest, I think first time I went in blind but just did him a second time and i think I got hit twice. Easy to identify his attacks however, probably my most enjoyable fight.

Didn’t last long in the 5th area even with all my health and astroman. I can already see this being a pain of a level.
