I've started a marathon mission to rewatch the X-Files from the start as I bought the DVD collection many years ago.
The picture quality on my new 4K TV is laughably bad and I suppose I could use netflix to get a better picture but I'm determined to get value from this 55 disc set so crappy quality it is.
I'm loving it all over again and now remember why it was at the time my favourite TV show and it really hasn't aged badly at all due to it having no real special effects and being all about the stories.

So, what shows do you rewatch to get a huge nostalgia hit?

Oh boy, I'm a big X-Files fan. I'll have to go and re-watch my favourite episodes now

I watched an episode of Kenan and Kel last night. Quality looked so awful.

ER

It's aged pretty well too.

Is it Re-Watch or rewatch?

I wouldn't say it's rewatching as I didn't watch it at the time, but I do like a bit of ER.

Watching Friends at the moment. For all the millennial rage it's still a great show, the first few seasons in particular.

I seem to spend a bunch of my time rewatching certain shows, to the point where I often struggle to find the time to watch all the new things I want to try as well. :fp:

The West Wing gets a complete watch every few years and it remains a brilliant show every time (accepting the slight post-Sorkin slump).

I've done a complete watch of Breaking Bad three times and will certainly do it all again at some point, probably with Saul as well once that ends.

Beyond that there's a bunch of comedy shows that I seen to have on an almost perennial watching cycle: Red Dwarf, Black Adder, Peep Show, Futurama, Fawlty Towers, Cheers, Community.

I love new stuff but it's nice to just sit back and stick on something you know you're going to enjoy sometimes!

I tend to rewatch Band of Brothers every year, as well as going through some Community episodes. Father Ted too.

The American Office, apart from the first series (god awful) the rest is stellar. It's amazing how much the stars have grown and how young they look at the beginning. I just miss Steve Carrell on TV and the theme tune pumps me up!

Pam is just

Michael Scott trying to hold in 'that's what she said' in front of his boss then waves to the rest of his employees when he bursts still makes me cry with laughter

Jack Ryan will always be lil Jim Halpert to me.

I very rarely rewatch TV series (or films if I'm being totally honest) as most of the time I'll just notice how badly they've aged or that I don't really like them as much as I thought I did.

Was watching Bottom again a couple of months ago and while I still found it hilarious in places I really did notice how ridiculously low budget it was, same with Red Dwarf.

My Fiancee and I started it a month or two back. Currently into season 4 and it's aged surprisingly well in most respects. I never really got much past this season originally so it's nice to not know what's coming up.

ER is another goods shout and I'll maybe suggest that to her once we finish the X-Files.
