Not really surprising, but Acaster is truly slaying them this week.

Is he as angrily competitive on this as he was on Taskmaster?

I loved him on that.

Suck it.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I find him very irritating, but he was quite funny on it.

He was initially competitive, but he’s just winning everything so he’s probably dialled it back a bit (the games are rather easy). The others (including Osman) are joking about ganging up on him.

I’m a little disappointed he doesn’t blank Osman’s greeting like he did with Horne.

This is a great show but I think it is let down by having Answer Smash as the last round on every show. It’s the poorest game on the show and having it every episode is irritating.

I like it as an ending.

Favourite smash is still Squidris Elba.

Not every game would be suitable for a final round, you want a buzzer game that can have a fair few points on offer. I think a slection of final rounds would be nice, youd still get answer smash occasionally but theres a couple of games that fit the brief that could also be kept for the final round. So youd have a large selection of regular games and then a smaller selction of final round only games. Means answer smash doesnt disappear but you get a bit more variety too.

Yeah I agree, I think Answer Smash irritates me because it is on every show, I probably wouldn't mind it if it was just once a week.

Was I missing something tonight or did they say West Brom were a Premier League team?

I'm pretty sure this set of episodes was recorded with the last set, prior to WBA going down. It's just a delay in transmission. I had an issue with a question a couple of weeks ago that claimed Venus was a Greek God, which has never been true. She's the Roman equivalent to Aphrodite. :slol:

Ah, right. Would've been surprised if it hadn't been picked up by Osman considering they basically swapped with Fulham

They did clarify at some point that it was the 2017/18 football season.
