Why not wait for the Prometheus sequels to come out first so you'll have a complete set?

Anyone know if there's a steelbook version of the Blu-ray coming out?

They often turned up two or three days later, with what they are based in Jersey. But my first preorder arrived a day after release day. A few of people I know sometimes get them a day earlier or on the release day. Seems depend on how lucky you are or when they receive the stock.

I can't be the only who thinks paying £23.99 for one Blu-Ray is absolutely nuts

yeah £23.99 is way too much for just one blu ray. It is 3D though, but sainsburys are doing the standard 3D version for £14.99, so you paying £9 for the steelbook

God I loved this film. I almost dont want to watch it again because I'm scared it'll make everyone elses criticisms very obvious.

I just finished watching it for the first time.

A very odd film really as I enjoyed it, despite tutting and rolling my eyes at it all the way through. As others have said, this is crying out for a directors cut, which will hopefully sort out the terrible pacing. It seemed to take place over two days, but the voiceover at the end suggested it was a week (they landed Christmas Day, Rapace left New Years Day).

Terrible dialogue as well.

Personally, I would hold off until there is a director's cut.

Finally got round to watching this. I really enjoyed it BUT damn if there aren't things which don't make sense:

Mostly, the caesarian scene, how come Shaw didn't think to tell anyone what she gave birth to? How come the people she knocked out in the next scene just don't acknowledge anything?

The inevitable director's cut will probably make the film's editing much better.

It's funny, I went to the bathroom just before the cesarian scene so I didn't see her hit the other doctors. Which actually made the scene make some sense. Take note, Mr Scott.

Also, the thing grew from the size of a watermelon to the size of a room without her as a host - so why did it even need a host? And how did it conjure up all this biomass?

Chestbursters go through the same rapid growth without any explanation. I just put it down to genetic engineering and the initial leeching stage as just being a bottleneck but simultaneously being the kickstarter leading to rapid growth.

Why didn't they just send the robot off to explore while staying on the ship?

Why did they even need humans onboard when David was better than them at everything?
