I was in a position where I’d dropped squats in favour of knee lifts going in to a level because I brought two yellows two reds and a green and didn’t have room for both. When I came up against 2 blue enemies in a row it was just knee lifts -> ineffective exercise -> knee lifts ad nauseum.
But if I’d guessed what exercises to bring in differently I’d have had a totally different (and more enjoyable) workout, because I wouldn’t have had to do the high intensity aerobics so many times in quick succession. I get that limiting it to 6 brings some focus to the workout because it forces you to repeat sets instead of doing a tiny bit of everything, but that’s surely what the colour coding is for in the first place.
I get this frustration, it is a bit annoying design wise.
I've basically given up caring about what is most effective against enemies and just doing whichever exercise I want to do in order to get a good balance to my workout. If that means a few more reps to defeat a mob then I don't really care!
